- Where are my photos stored? Photos and notes are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
- Is this a medical app? No. GrowLine is a personal photo journal and routine tracker only.
- How do I compare photos fairly? Use the same lighting, angle, and distance for each progress photo.
- How do purchases work? Pro purchases are handled by Apple through in-app purchase. You can restore purchases from Settings.
Privacy Policy

GrowLine is designed as a local-first private photo journal. This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed by the app and by third-party services used for ads and purchases.
Information You Provide
- Progress photos you choose to capture or import.
- Routine items, routine completion logs, focus areas, goals, and notes you enter.
This content is stored locally on your device. We do not operate an account system or upload your hair photos to our own server.
Camera and Photo Library
The app asks for camera or photo library access only when you choose to take or import a progress photo. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings.
In-App Purchases
Pro purchases and subscription status are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple may process payment, purchase history, and account information according to Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
Advertising
The free version may show Google AdMob interstitial ads. AdMob may process identifiers, advertising data, product interaction data, diagnostics, and related data for advertising and measurement. The app may request App Tracking Transparency permission if personalized advertising is enabled. You can decline tracking and still use the app.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal photos or notes. We do not use your photos for medical diagnosis, model training, or advertising.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your in-app photos, routines, logs, and notes remain on your device until you delete the app or remove entries. You can also delete exported files wherever you saved or shared them.

Acceptance of Terms
By using GrowLine, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Personal Tracking Only
The app is provided for personal journaling, routine organization, and visual photo comparison. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any condition.
Subscriptions and Purchases
GrowLine may offer monthly, yearly, or lifetime Pro access through Apple in-app purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Lifetime purchases are one-time purchases tied to your Apple ID.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to App Store policies.
Ads
The free version may show interstitial ads. Pro access removes interstitial ads where technically available in the app.
No Warranty
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, data retention, medical outcomes, or visual changes.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
